The Addamo estate vineyard is located in the Santa Maria Valley appellation of Santa Barbara County. Located just 10 miles from the Pacific Coast, Addamo vineyard benefits greatly from cool, maritime influences. The long “hang-time” of Addamo estate fruit is due in great part to the temperate climate of this coastal appellation. Addamo Estate vineyard was planted methodically and meticulously, with special attention paid to varietals best suited to
terroir. Taking into account the soils at property, the meso and micro-climates, the coastal influences and the orientation of the sun upon the hillsides,
Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Grenache and Syrah are best suited to Addamo estate.
They farm the vineyards sustainably, and fruit is all hand-harvested and hand-sorted. Currently, the maker makes his wines at his private, state-of-the-art
warehouse facility in Santa Maria, but recently broke ground on their winery, which will be located at Addamo estate vineyard.
