Bodegas Callia lives in accord with the Valley of Tulum landscape, Mendoza. Built using one of the world’s most advanced techniques for earthquake resistance. The new winery was
advanced with stainless steel tanks, modern pneumatic presses and a fractionation room. Bodegas Callia is home to 8,000 square meters of tanks with a capacity of 9,000,000 liters. The entire winery, including the storage area, is temperature controlled at between 10
degrees Celsius and 15 degrees Celsius to ensure the highest quality wine. Stainless steel tanks in a variety of sizes are used for fermentation and storage.
Bodegas Callia is given its name from a young woman who arrived from abroad in the land of San Juan many years ago. She wrote to her family describing San Juan as, paradise gifted with rich fruits,
despite the desert landscape. Her name was Callia and today, for the people of Argentina, Callia is synonymous with passion, endurance and success.
