Casalnova’s cool vineyard area in the region of Conegliano, north of Venice, is close enough to the Italian Alps. Conegliano Town in the province of Treviso, about 30 kilometers (19 mi) north by rail from the town of Treviso. Conegliano is noted for its wine, chiefly the dry white Prosecco (made from the grape of the same name). It is also home to Italy's oldest and most prestigious wine school.
