Celler La Bollidora was born with the 2005 vintage from the work of two partners Joan Bada and Joan Sanchez. The bodega is located near the town of Villalba dels Arcs in the refurbished former “alcohol factory” where the name of the winery comes from “La Bollidora” is “The Boiler” in Spanish. Soils are mainly calcareous clay with a very poor organic content. The height of the vineyards vary between 1508-1804 ft. which are the highest in all of the DO Terra Alta.
