This Monterey county Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp refreshing summer wine that I believe would be brilliant with the actual cuisine it's name suggests (Ceviche!). Ceviche, for those of us foreign to this wonderful dish, is a traditional Latin American seafood soup or salad that usually contains either fish, shrimp, lobster, or a mix of all these seafood's, coupled with onion, tomato, cilantro, lime, and oil. This California Sauvignon Blanc. On the nose this wine displays aromas of pear, green apple, citrus, grapefruit, and a touch of grassiness. It is the typical aromatic profile of lots of California SB's.
