Jean-Marc Boillot set up his estate in Pommard in 1985, after having worked at the family domaine in Volnay and then with the négociant Olivier Leflaive in Puligny-Montrachet.
Today he farms a total of 11 hectares of vineyard with his two children, Benjamin and Lydie. A team of four people, Vincent, Pierre, Georges and Paul help them in the vines and in the cellar throughout the year.
The parcels are spread over the communes of Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet.
Jean-Marc Boillot created his own négociant business in 1989. Working only with white wines, essentially from the Côte Chalonnaise, he vinifies and ages these appellations in the same way as the wines of the property.
The soils are clay-limestone and for the most part are found on hillsides, with an average age of 50 years.
