On the first trip to the United States, when Greg Norman was chosen to represent Australia in the 1976 World Cup of Golf in Palm Springs, Greg Norman made it a point to soak up as much of the culture as Greg Norman possibly could, and that included trying California's celebrated wines.
Throughout this time, the enjoyment and interest in fine wine grew. In the 1990's, Greg Norman partnered with some very renowned winemakers from Beringer Blass to launch Greg Norman Estates. This commitment to superior quality has been rewarded with critical acclaim, competition recognition, and market success. These factors, and the abiding appreciation and enjoyment of California wine, have led to newest venture, Greg Norman Estates.
