Inkberry winery is located 150 miles from Sydney, in the foothills of the Great Dividing Mountain Range. One of the highest elevation vineyards in Australia at 1,900 feet above sea level.
It has extremely low surrender; less than 3 tons/acre. Its soils are slate shale, clay loam including patches of Terra Rossa and limestone.
The winery has policy of eminence on shoot and bunch contraction rather than irrigation; aspiring to get consistent berry size, color, and balance.
