Judy Jordan established J Vineyards in order to craft the varietal and sparkling wines that have since become the essence of Russian River Valley expression in 1986.
The viticulture area runs west through Sonoma County, following the river as it winds around rolling hills and through rich bench lands before draining into the Pacific Ocean. The region's only one of its kind topography creates a rich diversity of soils, and the cool coastal climate extends the growing season, making it one of only a few places on earth ideal for producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Here is a combination of traditional and innovative winemaking techniques to craft Pinot Gris, Viognier and Vin Gris in true Russian River Valley style.
In addition to the varietal wines, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay have served as the support of our critically-acclaimed sparkling wines for 20 years now.
