Tatachilla winery has been a part of McLaren Vale since vines were first planted over 100 years ago.

Today the bright patchwork of olive groves, avocado orchards and rows of vines bordered by the coast impart a Mediterranean flavor to this developing region. Our wines evoke classic McLaren Vale characteristics blended with contemporary Mediterranean cues. They show the true character of the grapes, balancing honor for the vineyard with a light touch in the winery.

The winery has been established in 1903, Tatachilla’s commitment to McLaren Vale has remained strong throughout the years. Its vineyards are spotted amongst the sloping hills and pointed basin of McLaren Vale, with fruit for Tatachilla’s wines sourced from key McLaren Vale sub regions: Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale North & South and Clarendon.

Tatachilla’s own Clarendon Vineyard is the heart of Tatachilla, and the basis for our finest expressions of McLaren Vale wine. Tatachilla’s wines evoke classic McLaren Vale characteristics blended with contemporary Mediterranean cues.
