Bodegas San Valero was born as a cooperative in late 1945 bringing to 60 growers of the region of Carignan. It has always been intimately related to our primeval tradition, began in 1945 and gathered 60 vine growers from this county. After some years throughout which mass production of wines captured main concern, San Valero advanced until it accomplished the production we know today.
Bodegas San Valero led the way the introduction of bottling in Aragon in 1962. Its continuous progression of perfection led San Valero to adopt the so-called "controlled grape-harvest" in 1983, as part of its unstoppable quest for total quality.
Today with more than 700 active partners who own about 4,000 acres of vineyards.
